How To Remove Shortcut Arrows in Windows

Here is a tutorial to remove the arrows from sortcuts in Windows
1)Open Notepad and copy and paste the following:

REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTlnkfile]
@="Shortcut"
"IsShortcut"=""

2)Go to file, save as. Name the txt file as shortcut.reg
3)Exit Notepad, and double click the file. It will say a new entry is about to be entered into the registry. Click OK.
4)Open a new file in notepad and paste the following:


REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTpiffile]
@="Shortcut to MS-DOS Program"
"IsShortcut"="

5)Go to file, save as. Name the .txt file as shortcut.reg
6)Exit Notepad, and double click the file. It will say a new entry is about to be entered into the registry. Click OK.
