Having tried some of the Linux Distros, I was between Mint and Ubuntu and that's because while I liked Ubuntu as a whole, at Mint I liked the Cinnamon environment.
Not that Unite Ubuntu is bad, but it was very simple and is generally ideal for users who do not know how to handle computers. So I was looking to see how I can have Ubuntu with the Cinnamon's feel.
The solution is very simple. Open a terminal and type the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gwendal-lebihan-dev/cinnamon-stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install cinnamon
When it finish, logout from the user's selection screen, then choose to change the environment and login. Of course Unite is not removed, so we can restore it whenever we want.
